WHAT IS NEW BEDFORD YouthREP?
New Bedford YouthREP is a theatre company for the young people of
SouthCoast Massachusetts. Since 2006, YouthREP has presented
relevant, thought-provoking theatre at a professional level. Area
youth are involved in every aspect of theatrical production, including
performance, scenic design, costuming, sound and lighting, and
theatre tech, among others. Our participants work with experienced
practitioners in all areas.
YouthREP strives to present works with themes of tolerance,
diversity, and understanding. Through the power of performance,
the youth of this area are heard and respected.
